Project 10
Project 9
This project was frustrating to do. I've realized I really don't like photoshop cause it makes things way more complicated than it needs to be. I first found a painting that i figured would work the best for this project, but the actual challenge was finding an image of myself that would fit the face. After cutting out my face i spent a lot of time playing around with the blurring and eraser tools. I then layered some filters onto it to try and get the texture and colors as similar to the original painting as possible.

Project 8
This project was a lot easier than I originally thought it would be. I started off finding a landscape and based off the landscape i chose i tried to find the best picture of myself that would work in the landscape that i chose. I first cut myself out and then I played around with the sizing of the image and the filter color to match the more orangey tones. I then made a shadow to match the rest that were in the background and lastly i changed some of the highlights on my body to be less bright in some spots and brighter in areas where the sun would actually be hitting according to the shadows.

Project 7
This project was honestly very easy, but fun nonetheless. I chose a variety of pictures from my phone and uploaded them to photoshop. With each photo I played around with the contrast, colors, brightness, filters, and the curves. I would play around with each option seeing how they effected each picture differently and chose the options and settings that I thought were the most fun for that photo.
Project 6
For this project I had originally chosen a different picture to recreate, but after playing around with it I realized it was much too difficult and would take too long. I searched and eventually found this image. Recreating this picture was a lot of fun, but also took me almost 3 full class sessions to complete. There was a lot of trial and error in the beginning to figure out the best way to go about making the image. I originally started with outlining and moving and piecing each color like a puzzle, but it was much more difficult making sure that each piece fit together perfectly. Eventually I began outlining each piece on top of each other before moving it over in one large group.

Project 5
This project was by far the hardest project we have done yet. I originally started with a different fruit, but it was too challenging for me to complete. I'm very proud of how this came out considering I've ever done anything like this before. I started with the body of the banana and then worked on the stem. I had issues with getting the colors to work, but managed to make it work to the best of my ability. I eventually went back and added more detail to the stem and tried to make the line in the body of the banana.
